Throughout lockdown we have kept some of our groups going on Zoom and have learned a lot about the format. With that in mind, we would like to draw your attention to 2 new groups which might be of interest to you or people you know. The first is:
'Moving to Freedom': How to Keep Sane in Lockdown
'We feel powerless and our lives seem unmanageable.'
Does this sound true for you? The pandemic has brought anxiety and a lack of certainty to all of us. There are no easy answers out there. Coping is an inside job.
Inspired by the practical and deep wisdom of the '12 steps' and our belief in a God not constrained by religious labels or rules, we want to offer an online space where you can be yourself and say exactly what you need to say. Where you can find support from others on the same journey. Where you can discover a way of living that brings real peace.
Come and find out more. The beauty of Zoom is that leaving just takes the click of a button if you decide it's not for you!
Our 'come and see' session will be at 7pm on February 4th.
Contact Simon at firstname.lastname@example.org to get the link or to find out more.
The 2nd will be a Lockdown Lent course focusing on 6 of the most relevant aspects of Christian spirituality which will probably begin on February 24th. I will confirm details of this in February but please contact me if you are interested.
Can I also tell you about our midweek Zoom worship at 6.30pm on Wednesday? This is a 30-minute reflective worship with prayer, silence and music from the Iona and Taize communities. Please contact me if you would like the Zoom link for that.
In the meantime, stay well and safe. Peace, Simon
